About Me
Since I was a small girl, I have always been fascinated by fairytales. I was always searching in the woodlands around where I grew up for fairies and elves. Hans Christian Anderson fairytales had always touched my heart with their beauty and bitter sweetness.

I am the mother of four girls, my greatest role in life. I think, to raise children who are kind, introspective and caring members of the society they live in, is a sacred and always ever changing endeavor.

I have studied the arts of both Tai Chi (an external martial art, slow motion Kung Fu) as my teacher described it and Qi Gong (an internal martial art involving energy work) for 27 years. I studied with my teacher who was master of all four schools of Tai Chi, a Kung Fu Master and Qi Gong Master for 65 years. I studied intensely with him for 8 years, practicing three times per week. I found him as I was looking for a teacher and healer of Qi Gong who could help my husband who had arthritic hips and needed pain relief. I found a wonderous teacher, Master Weizhao Wu, who taught me how to treat my husband's hips and also treated my daughters, three who had bone dysplasia, like their father.

My journey with Master Wu was nothing less than miraculous. He was able to treat my husband and gave him great pain relief. He then taught me Qi Gong and when I was ready he showed me how to treat my husband's hips myself.

I became one of only five in Canada to receive a teaching certificate from Master Wu. I also went on to learn reflexology, Chinese head massage, acupressure and Qi Gong healing methods. I have also practiced Tai Chi for over 37 years.

I feel, see and breathe energy. Qi Gong is an essential part of my life. It has opened the worlds beyond to me and helped me understand our connection to each other. I practice every day. Practice and knowledge are essential to a balanced understanding of energy in all its glorious forms. Knowledge without practice or practice without knowledge are not whole. That's why Master Wu always said to me practice, practice and more practice and knowledge given along the way.

My greatest gift from qi gong was that I can treat my children as they age and help with their pain.

I have always been deeply interested in why people do the things they do. Eventually as I taught qi gong, I started doing healing on people. Many of the people who came to me were woman, like my mother, who had been in abusive relationships. These woman required both outside physical healing and inside healing of their mind and spirit.

Lastly, I am also a grandmother. My grandchildren have taught me much about life and I am thankful for the time I have had with each of them.
I have written stories all my life. I love a true love story. I hope you enjoy my books as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
With Sincere Regards
Kathleen
